Random Ramblings

OMG I am so far behind! Everyone's blogs just seem to multiply everytimne I turn the computer off! Of course, it may also be that I've been too busy lately to check them as regularly as I used to.

Cirque Du Soleil was absolutely incredible- it’s amazing what some of these people can do. And there were quite a few who I was sure should not be allowed to put their bodies into such positions! We all spent up big at the souvenir stand- firstly we are all big believers in souvenirs, and secondly because everything was so expensive to begin with. I won’t tell you what we bought or how much we spent as it is likely to freak you all out- although not perhaps as much as finding out that a certain someone we all know (and it’s not me- seriously!) has spent $300 on a face cream! I will tell you about one item I bought- basically it’s a Big Top bag. At Cirque Du Soleil they recycle a lot of the things, including costumes and, so it seems, parts of the Big Top tent. When it gets worn out and they need to replace it they cut it up and use it to make bags and satchels- recycling at its finest. So we are all proud owners of part of the Cirque Du Soleil Big Top. They were quite expensive (actually very expensive) but I just think it’s so cool!

Other than that, not much has been happening. I’ve been really busy lately, but it’s one of those “busies” where you don’t actually do much- if you know what I mean. It’s mostly just been work and business as usual. I’ve started going out to schools with Jade for GymSkools and I’m really looking forward to it. I’ll be getting a fair bit more work over then next few weeks because, in addition to my usual shifts at the gym, I also have additional shifts filling in for one of the other coaches away on holidays, so lots of $ coming my way! (Which I am hopefully going to spend on a pole!)

I’ll be missing 2 pole classes due to having to work the nest two Thursday nights. Luckily this weeks class has been rescheduled due to my teacher attending the official launch of the International Pole Federation, so I really only have to make up one class.

And accepting the full consequences of my actions, here is the photo of me upside down on the pole:

Upside Down!

That's about it from me at the moment. Got Ostara on at Rose Cottage tonight- I love sabbats!

Love you all!

Just out of curiosity, how many members does the International Pole Federation have? I keep having flashes of "the Judean Peoples' Front" & "the Peoples' Front of Judea"...sorry....I've never been very serious about authority......
